COVID-19 POLICY - 2024
We strongly encourage vaccination against COVID-19, but are no longer requiring it.
The prevalence of vaccination and level of immunity in the general population at this point is very high. Vaccination is extremely effective at preventing severe illness for those who are vaccinated, but does not prevent vaccinated people with COVID from spreading it, nor does an individual's lack of vaccination pose a threat to others. For these reasons, and in keeping with currant policies at other similar camps, we’ve decided not to require vaccination at this time.
Campers may be asked to:
We ask that campers remain flexible and understand that the board of NHMC reserves the right to adjust its covid policies at any time to protect the health and safety of all attendees.

- Take a rapid test prior to and/or upon arrival at camp
- Test at other times during the week
- Wear a high quality mask at camp during specific events (such as evening dances or in the event of a covid outbreak)
- Leave Common Ground Camp if they test positive during the course of the week
